Save Time Crossing Back into the U.S.!
We are enrolled in the border Fast Pass program, officially called FastLane. The Fast Pass Lane is open at the Tijuana/San Ysidro border crossing, and is different from the SENTRI Lane. A Fast Pass is a single-use pass that gives you access to a special lane designated for tourists. This lane will significantly reduce your wait time getting back into the U.S. Reports say the wait on average is 30 minutes. Fifteen minute waits or less are not unusual, depending, of course, upon the time of day and the day you travel. Sometimes the Fast Pass Lane is even faster than the SENTRI.
This lane does not have any affiliation with U.S. authorities, and you will still need to present the necessary documentation to U.S. border officials. The program is coordinated by an outside third party with the following rules.
Only One Fast Pass per room per stay. Your vehicle MUST have USA or Canadian License Plate. (Motorcycles & vehicles with trailers or no License plates on the vehicle --are NOT eligible.) Fast Pass HOURS OF OPERATION are 8 AM to 10 PM daily. Only the SAN YSIDRO border crossing has a Fast Pass Lane. (The Otay Border crossing does NOT have one.) Subject to availability
How do I get a Fast Pass? These are available free of charge to our overnight guests. (The pass is only good for one crossing).
As previously stated, the FastPass system is managed by an off-site third-party and subject to availability. Thus, it is highly recommended that you request it one day before departure, and we will be much more likely to be able to provide it.
